  13.    TX-232(K) is a software dedicated to OM and SWL owners of Kenwood transceivers
  14. like TS-850S & TS-450S (see COMPATIBILITY.DOC for more informations).

  19.    Functions of TX-232 :

  21.    - Dual display frequency (2 VFO)
  22.    - All modes
  23.    - F.I. filters and SLOPE TUNE PASS BAND filter
  24.    - Programmable Scanning frequency
  25.    - Spectrograph (Band-scope)
  26.    - 10 Memories banks of 24 memories with name (10 characters).
  27.    - Automatic recognition of transceiver (*).

  29.  (*) When TS-850S is recognize, SLOPE TUNE window is avalaible. For others TRX,
  30.      the SLOPE TUNE window is not available. TS-950S SLOPE TUNE is for future.

  33.    Screen is in two parts :

  35.    Upper window : General window for all display (frequency, mode,etc...) and
  36.    all options availables on front panel of transceiver.

  55.      PASKHZ = Default Step in kHz

  57.      SCANSTART = Start Frequency for scanning (in kHz)
  58.      SCANSTOP  = Stop Frequency for scanning (in kHz)

  72.    Available of 50 kHz until 29,999 MHz. For the time, there is no possibility
  73. of 50 MHz for TS-680S or TS-690S. I haven't informations for range frequency of
  74. theses TRX. Send me doc please...).

  78.    2nd VFO    -> Small display.

  89.    Choice of 1 Hz step is possible but only news TRX use this. This option is
  90.    implemented for future compatibility with the new TS-870S & TS-570S.

  110.         Click -> " ENT, 0 , 7 , 0 , 5 , OK ", frequency is automaticaly
  111.         completed with zeros number. Frequency out of range is substitute
  112.         by 50 kHz or 29,999,999 MHz.

  146. TS-140S & TS-680S.

  159. SCANNING MODE:

  162.    P.SCAN is used for programming frequency range to scanning.
  163.    For modify, click Gadgetstring :

  165.           Start -> Start frequency  (kHz).
  166.           Stop  -> Stop frequency (kHz).
  167.           Delay -> Delay of wait between two frequency (seconds). 
  168.           Step  -> Step for scanning (kHz).
  169.           Busy  -> Value max of busy frequency, In number of S-Meter segment
  170.                    (1 to 30)
  171.           Pause -> Pause time for waiting when frequency is buzy (seconds).

  173.    Busy and Pause are used together.

  175.    Ex: If Busy=15 and Pause=8. The Scanning will waiting on all frequencies buzy
  176. with signal of 15 segments on S-meter of TRX and that during a time of 8 seconds
  177. + value of "Delay".

  180.     In DEMO version, scanning range is fixed of 14,000 MHz to 14,350 MHz

  183.    Ranges frequencies are already programmed (HAM Bands & Citizen Band) and
  184. you can select them by buttons.

  186.    SCAN button start scanning and display spectrograph window. The Window's
  187. contain values of s-meter on graphic display.
  188.    On scanning memory mode, the name of memory is display in the small display
  189. screen.

  191.    Stop scanning by press ESC key when spectrograph window is selected.

  193.    The scanning memory band mode is also possible by menu "Scanning"

  208. 10 banks of 25 memories (0 to 24) programmable with name of 10 alpha-numeric
  209. characters and with modulation mode.

  214.            Divided in 10 bands
  215.        1,8 MHz - 3,5 MHz -  7 MHz - 10,1 MHz - 14 MHz

  218.       F2 -> Citizen Band

  220.            All C.B. channels used in France.
  221.            Nota : In selecting C.B. channel, the step is automaticaly fixed to

  307. for future version.

  328. At left, this is LOW PASS filter and at right, this is HIGH PASS filter.

  333. number if your TRX is not a TS-450S or TS-850S. This is for complete automatic
